RIPN Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how RIPN (“the App,” “we,” “us”), published by We Wash Whatever, collects, uses, stores, and protects information when someone uses the application. RIPN is a CRM that door-to-door sales and field-service companies use to manage sales leads, customers, jobs, quotes, and related field-sales operations. Anyone can create an account: you can set up a company workspace (and become its Owner), or join an existing workspace with an invitation email or team code from that company. RIPN is a business tool, not a consumer app.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information for the people who use the app (name, email, phone, and role/title within a workspace)
  • Company workspace information entered when a company is set up (company name, size, and industry, and — if provided — a company phone number, number of sales reps, and sales goals)
  • Email addresses of teammates that a company invites to join its workspace
  • Business information team members enter about the company's leads, customers, jobs, and quotes
  • Text messages a company sends and receives through the app (message content and phone numbers), if it uses the messaging feature
  • Location information, only while a team member has an active, opted-in Sales Shift or Mailer Shift
  • Photos a team member chooses to upload of a property or a completed job
  • Standard technical information generated by our hosting and infrastructure providers (for example, request logs)

Account Information

You can create an account yourself — by setting up a company workspace, or by joining one with an invitation email or team code — and a company can also invite you by email. We collect and store your name, email address, and — if provided — phone number. If you set up a company, we also store the company name, size, and industry, and — if provided — the company phone number. Your email address and password are used by our authentication provider, Supabase, to verify your identity and sign you in; your password is passed directly to Supabase and is never stored by this application. Account emails (invitations, password-reset links, and account-deletion links) are sent through Supabase's built-in email service. Your name, phone, and role are used to identify you within your workspace (for example, assigning a lead or job to you).

CRM and Business Information

As part of normal day-to-day use, team members enter business information into RIPN, including:

  • Leads — property address, homeowner name/phone/email, lead source, status, and notes
  • Customers — name, phone, email, billing and service addresses, and notes
  • Jobs — service address, assigned crew, scheduling details, equipment notes, and job photos
  • Quotes — property address, line items, pricing, and terms
  • Follow-ups and sales activity — scheduled follow-up tasks and an internal activity log of actions taken in the CRM
  • Text messages — the content of messages a company sends to and receives from its customers and leads, the phone numbers involved, and opt-out records

This information describes each company's own customers and prospects, entered by that company's team to operate its business. It belongs to that company's workspace, and we store and process it to provide the service. It is generally not collected directly from the individuals it describes through this app. The exception is We Wash Whatever's own workspace, where quote requests submitted on washwhatever.com are also added automatically as leads.

Location Information

RIPN includes an optional “Sales Map” feature used for door-to-door sales territory coordination. Here is exactly how location information is handled:

  • What is collected: your device's approximate or precise GPS location (during a mailer route shift, this includes the route you walk).
  • When it is collected: only while you have explicitly started a “Sales Shift” or a “Mailer Shift,” after checking a consent confirmation. Collection stops immediately when you end your shift, sign out, your browser or device revokes location permission, or the shift reaches its maximum configured length.
  • Background location: RIPN does not collect location in the background. Location is only read while your shift is active and the app is open.
  • Why it is collected: so company Owners, Admins, and Managers can coordinate active reps in the field in real time and review the mailer routes and deliveries they complete.
  • Who can see it: you, and users with the Owner, Admin, or Manager role — never other sales reps.
  • Your control: starting a Sales Shift or Mailer Shift is entirely optional — most of RIPN can be used without ever starting one — and you can deny or later revoke location permission at any time through your browser or device settings.
  • Retention: raw location history — including the GPS points of a mailer route — is automatically deleted after a limited retention period (30 days by default, set for the whole service). Business records such as leads, visits, deliveries, and territory activity are not affected by this deletion, and the start and end positions recorded for a mailer shift are kept with that shift until the account is deleted.

How We Use Information

  • Operating and maintaining the app
  • Creating and managing accounts and company workspaces
  • Managing leads, customers, jobs, quotes, and follow-ups
  • Providing scheduling, dispatch, and route/mapping functionality
  • Sending account emails, and delivering the text messages a company sends to its customers if it uses the messaging feature
  • Maintaining an internal activity record for accountability
  • Providing support to our team
  • Maintaining the security of the app and preventing misuse

We do not use this information for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.

How Information Is Shared

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with the service providers that help us operate RIPN, and only as needed for them to provide that service:

  • Supabase — authentication (including account emails), database, and file storage.
  • Mapbox — renders maps and geocodes addresses; may receive address or location information to do so.
  • Vercel — hosts the application and runs its scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Twilio — if a company connects a Twilio account to use the messaging feature, the text of each message and the phone numbers involved are processed by Twilio to deliver it and to receive replies.
  • Stripe — if a company subscribes to a paid plan, Stripe processes the payment. It receives the company name and the email address of the person who subscribes. Card details are entered on Stripe's own pages and never reach or are stored by us; we keep only the subscription's status, number of seats, billing period, and Stripe's customer and subscription identifiers.

We do not use any advertising network, analytics vendor, or data broker, and we do not share information with third parties for their own independent purposes.

Data Storage and Security

Information is stored using Supabase's database and file storage services and transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Access to business data is restricted by authentication and database-level access rules, so team members generally only see the information relevant to their role. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain account and business information for as long as an account or business relationship is active, or as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Raw location history is retained for a shorter, limited period as described above and then automatically deleted. A company's business records stay in its workspace until the company deletes them; RIPN does not purge them on a schedule.

Account and Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your RIPN account and the personal information tied to it yourself, at any time, on the Delete Account page — while signed in, or by requesting a secure link to your account email if you can't sign in. Deletion is immediate. It removes your sign-in, profile, and location data. Business records you worked on (leads, customers, jobs, quotes, notes, and similar) belong to your company's workspace and are kept with your name removed. The page lists exactly what is deleted and what is kept. You can also email us at support@washwhatever.com.

User Choices and Permissions

  • Location: grant or revoke location permission at any time in your browser or device settings. Declining location access does not prevent you from using most of RIPN.
  • Notifications: RIPN shows alerts inside the app (for example, new leads or follow-ups); it does not currently send push notifications to your device.
  • Account information: you can edit your name and phone number on your Profile page. Your role and title are managed by your workspace's Owner or Manager, and to change your email address you can contact us.
  • Text messages: people who receive a text can reply STOP to opt out; RIPN records opt-outs and honors them.

Children's Privacy

RIPN is a business tool intended for use by adults who work for or run a business. It is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, children under 13.
