RIPN Refund Policy

Last Updated: September 20, 2026

This policy explains how free trials, cancellations, and refunds work for RIPN subscriptions. It is part of our Customer Agreement.

The short version

  • Start with a free trial of 7 days. A card is required to start it, but nothing is charged during the trial — cancel before it ends and you won't be charged at all.
  • Cancel any time. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
  • If you subscribe and it isn't right for you, ask within 7 days of your first payment and we'll refund that payment in full.
  • If we charge you by mistake, we'll refund the mistake.
  • After that, subscription payments are not refundable for time already started.

Free trial

A new workspace can try RIPN free for 7 days. You add a payment card to start the trial, and nothing is charged during it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial and your card is charged for the seats you chose. If you cancel during the trial you are not charged; your access ends when the trial ends and your data is kept for at least 30 days so you can come back and pick up where you left off.

Cancelling

An Owner or Admin can cancel from the billing page in your workspace (choose “Manage billing”), or you can email us and we'll do it for you. When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, then stops. We won't charge you again. Cancelling does not by itself trigger a refund; the situations where we refund are listed below.

When we refund

  • Your first payment, within 7 days. If you ask within 7 days of the first time you were charged for a subscription, we'll refund that payment in full, whether your plan is monthly or yearly. This applies to your first subscription payment only.
  • Billing mistakes. If we charge you the wrong amount, charge you twice, or charge you after you cancelled, we'll refund the incorrect amount. Please tell us within 60 days of the charge.
  • Where the law requires it. If the law where you live gives you a right to a refund, we will honor it.

When we don't refund

  • Renewal payments, once the renewal has been charged. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.
  • Part of a billing period you have already started, including after you cancel part-way through it.
  • Seats you added and later no longer use. Reducing seats takes effect at your next renewal.
  • Workspaces suspended or ended for breaking the Customer Agreement.
  • Charges by other companies, such as your phone carrier or Twilio, which are outside our control.

How to ask for a refund

Email support@washwhatever.com from the address on your account and include your company (workspace) name and the date of the charge. We aim to answer within 5 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through our payment processor, Stripe. Your bank decides how quickly it appears, usually within 5 to 10 business days.

Disputing a charge with your bank

If something looks wrong, please contact us first. We can usually fix it faster than a card dispute, and a dispute may cause your workspace to be suspended while it is reviewed.

Taxes

Where we collected sales tax or a similar tax on a payment that we refund, we refund that tax too.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. A change never reduces the refund rights of a payment you have already made, and the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Material changes get at least 30 days' notice, as described in the Customer Agreement.
